VAT-PITTA-KAPHA
Pressure-Temperature-Volume
Structureless
Same
Affect each other
P1V1=P2V2
V1/T1 = V2/T2
PV = nRT
Have their normal range
Same
Changes in atmosphere affect them
Same
If they are within normal range, person is healthy
Same
If they are more or less than normal range, person is ill
Same
Symptoms of aggrevation
Vata – Pain
Pitta – Burning sensation
Kapha – Heaviness

Same
Treatment
Vata –Vasti
Pitta – Virechna
Kapha – Vamana

Total internal pressure is reduced by vasti
Temperature of body is reduced by virechna
Volume(Heavy mucus) is reduced by vamana
Property
Vatta – Ruksha

Pitta – Hot
Kapha  - snigha

Pressure is more, if roughness is more.
(Pressure is less in oily or smooth place)
Temperature is hot
Volume of oily things are more than things that are rough in nature
Function
Vatta – Movement
Pitta – Digestion
Kapha – Stability, Strength

Pressure is responsible for movement
Temperature is responsible for digestion
If volume is more, stability is more
Main site
Vatta – Large intenstine

Pitta – Lower part of stomach

Kapha – Upper part of stomach
In patients of hypertension, B.P. will be more in those days in which patient is constipated.  In comparison to those, in which he passes normal stool. In the same manner, in patients of joints pain, intensity of pain will be more in those days when they are constipated. This means pressure can be easily controlled by large intestine.
Temperature comes down after loose motion. Cause of loose motion is Pitta (Bile), which is situated in lower part of stomach.
Volume (heavy mucus) is mainly located in upper part of stomach (Vamana, kunjal kriya are the process which reduces volume mainly and brings feeling of lightness specially in the upper part of body)

Ayurvedic practice
§  O.P.D.(loose dispensing is beneficial)
§  Panchkarm
§  Ayurvedic store(some doctors are running only this and earning good)
MARKETING
Without marketing no body or very few patients approaches your clinic. So, whole game is of marketing, making links, increasing social circle, making use of parental circle, making circle with those who are socially active. It is easy to do practice in your native place but if u are doing in different place (big city), everything depends on marketing. This is done by pamphlets. Newspaper adv. is very costly and is good for chain of clinics where u can charge more say for one month medicines. But for individual clinic, only go for pamphlet advertisement.
If you mention one disease or all the diseases in one pamphlet, response is same.
If you mention all diseases in one pamphlet, response decline sharply within one year and if u deals only in one system of disease, you have to increase the number of areas of advertisement (that become costly). So, it is better to - TREAT ALL, PROMOTE ONE. So follow the 4 types of pamphlets.
4 types of pamphlets-
§  Backache and joints pain(mention all type of pain)
§  Allergy (allergic rhinitis, asthma, mention all skin diseases)
§  Gastric disorders(mention all)
§  Anti stress unit (headache, migraine, over or under weight, women and children diseases, stone, bed wetting, sex problem, paralysis etc.)
Mention massages, panchkarm for joints pain, shirodhara on other side of pamphlet.
DISTRIBUTION OF PAMPHLETS
Suppose, u go for 25000 pamphlets( one of the four types). At one time, distribute 2000-3000. Do this twice weekly. Average should be 800-1000 pamphlets per day. This will give u one patient. All most fix for any business. For 25000, u will get 25 patients. You will get response mostly within 1-10 days, rarely 1- 3 months.
To cover up the cost of pamphlets, loose dispensing is beneficial.
§  25000 pamphlets = 25 patients
§  Average 2 patients will take treatment for 3-6 months.
§  Average 2-3 patients will take treatment for 2-4 weeks.
§  Average 18-19 patients will take treatment for 1-2 weeks.
§  This average is almost fixed for all the four types of pamphlets.
Average gap between distributions of same type of pamphlets (same system of disease) should be 6-7 months. So that in these gaps some new good patients can prepare their mind and you will good response.
If you are doing loose dispensing you will get average 3-5 times returns in 3-5 months
With one newspaper adv. Average you get one patient. But it is very costly in comparison to 1000 pamphlet cost (that also gives you one patient). Another negative point of newspaper adv. is that if you donot get proper position, you will get zero response.
Over the time, response of any advertisement remains the same. It never increases.  If it decreases one should look for one’s mistake.
Try to change the shape, printing color and style of printing of pamphlets. Add some health tips, some precautions or height- body weight index so that you can get same good response by attracting different nature of patients.

Trisodha

As we say, tridosha are present all over body. u see, pressure-temperature-volume are also present all over body whether it is at macro or micro(cellular) level. even a cell has its intracellular pressure, some particular temp., has certain volume.
and we also  say that there can not be any disease if vata-pitta-kapha are with in normal range(normal),. u see, there can not be any disease without change in pressure-temp.-volume whether it is at macro level(say blood pressure) or at micro level (cellular level). in every disease, there must be any change in pressure-temp. or volume, it is another thing, it may be more or less.
suppose we take example of skin diseases. if redness is there, we say pitta is increased. on another term, we can say that temp. is increased. in some skin disease, skin become thick, we say kapha is increased. in another term, we can say that volume is increased. in some skin diseases, skin become rough, we say vata is increased. in another term, we can say pressure in that area is increased so much that it breaks the integrity (compactness) of the skin and causes roughness. if pressure is further increased, cracks will appear. for better understanding, we take example of friction. if surface is rough, friction is more. it is also like a pressure. on smooth surface, pressure is less.
we say vata has its main site in the body i.e. large intestine. it is the main site and is also produced or formed here and this is also main site from where excess vata of whole body can be controlled or released from the body and u see, for vata treatment, vasti is recommended which is given in its main site i.e. large intestine.
in the same. manner, pressure has its main site i.e. large intestine. and this is the main point from where we can control the whole body pressure.
take example of a hypertensive patient, B.P. will be more in those days in which they are constipated in comparison to those days in which they passes normal stool. and by giving vasti , we are basically, controlling the total internal pressure of the body.
we say, increased vata causes pain. u see, if pressure is increased in any part of the body, there will be pain. take example of joints pain say knee joint. in knee joint, itself, some inflammatory substances are collected due to that there is some swelling. that means pressure in that area is increased. and to reduce this local pressure, we give nadi sweda.  that increased swelling is reduced by sweating and internal pressure of knee joint is reduced . oral medicines and vasti will reduced the internal pressure of the body
